Transmission Loss Multipliers (TLMs) incorrect for Interim Information Run (II)

What is happening?
The previous News Item noted that the Central Data Collection Agent (CDCA) experienced issues collecting Metered data. This has affected the accuracy of the Transmission Loss Multipliers (TLM) for Non-Interconnector Balancing Mechanism (BM) Units. This is because the TLM is derived using Metered Volumes from Delivering and Offtaking Trading Units.
How will I be impacted?
The TLM data was used in the Interim Information (II) Settlement Runs for Settlement Dates 22 and 23 October 2018. The data will be less accurate than normal for Parties with Non-Interconnector BM Units. Note that the II Settlement Run has no financial Settlement and is for information only.

All outstanding Metered data has been retrospectively collected by CDCA. The Metered Volumes and TLMs will be corrected in the next Settlement Run, the Initial Settlement Run (SF).

Corrections between II and SF can affect Imbalance Prices however we are expecting the value of any changes to be minimal.

Credit Cover for Parties with Non-Credit Qualifying and Credit-Qualifying BM Units may be impacted until 23 November 2018. If this issue is adversely affecting your Credit Cover calculations, you can submit a case for Material Doubt as per Section M of the Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC).

Is there anything else I need to know?
